Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Office and Family Service Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing office operations while providing essential support services to families in our community. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate leader with strong organizational skills and a commitment to helping others.
Key Responsibilities
Office Management
- Oversee daily office operations and administrative functions
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facility maintenance
- Coordinate schedules and appointments for staff and clients
- Maintain accurate records and documentation systems
- Handle correspondence and communication with external partners
- Supervise administrative staff and provide training as needed
Family Service Coordination
- Assess family needs and develop appropriate service plans
- Connect families with community resources and support services
- Coordinate family support programs and activities
- Maintain confidential family records and case files
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency assistance
- Collaborate with social workers, counselors, and other professionals
Program Development
- Develop and implement new family service programs
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make improvements
- Prepare reports and documentation for funding sources
- Participate in community outreach and partnership development
- Stay current with best practices in family services
Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in office management or family services
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Experience working with diverse populations and families in crisis
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse populations
- Knowledge of community resources and social service systems
Certifications & Licenses
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Background check clearance required
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Social work license or related certification preferred
Work Environment & Schedule
This position operates in a professional office environment with regular interaction with families, community partners, and staff members. The role may require occasional evening or weekend hours to accommodate family needs and community events.
