Woodvale Union Cemetery Veterans Memorial Dedication
November 11, 2015 at 10:30 A.M.

The Woodvale Union Cemetery Veterans Memorial will be a lasting tribute to all who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The project is a joint effort of the Cities of Berea and Middleburg Heights. The memorial will honor all veterans, living or deceased, who had actively served in the U.S. Armed Forces and have received an honorable discharge.

The memorial will include three granite columns of which the center column will commemorate each branch of the armed forces. The veteran's names will be inscribed on the side columns in phases. Deadline for the first phase will be September 30, 2015. Those names will be inscribed on the columns of the memorial for all to see and honor on the dedication ceremony of the memorial. Those names collected after September 30, 2015 will be added to the monument the following year and recognized at the next Veterans Day program.
